Following the briefing by the Prime Minister on Monday evening, the RFU responded and all rugby activity has been cancelled for the rest of the season.

Rugby Football Union suspends all rugby activity

Therefore, there will be no Long Buckby RFC rugby activity whilst this remians the case. Rugby activity includes all training, all matches and also education courses.

We would encourage all players to try and manintain their own personal fitness, while following government and NHS advice on safe distance and safe exercise environments.

Long Buckby RFC officials will continue to monitor Government advice, together with any RFU updates, on Coronavirus and will update further as and when needed.

In the meantime, we would ask all players, coaches, officials and anyone else associated with the club to be aware of the following advice

If you think you may be affected or in a high risk group, please follow the Government and NHS advice.

When at the club please can everyone follow health service advice on personal hygiene such as washing hands more often and for longer.
