It was an epic night at Franklin's Gardens last year when we won the Lewis Shield.

Now we have to defend it and come up against local rivals Daventry under lights at home on Tuesday 12th Feb kick off at 7.30.

Club Captain Jake Toseland has asked for our support;

“The seniors are playing Daventry in the 1st round of the Lewis shield tomorrow night, it's the cup they won last year, and it's against Daventry at home so we need your support!”

It would be great to fill the bar and pitch-side viewing. Let’s show some support for the seniors, bar opens at 18.00 with KO at 19.30.

The Lewis Shield is unusual as players who have won the tournament cannot play in it again. So it is a fantastic development opportunity for players and clubs alike and no team have ever mounted a successfully defence. That's not to say we don't have an excellent chance as we had a number of players who didn't feature last year and plenty of young talent coming through.

It's a big event - the more support the better!
